How to submit and track medical bills with OneShare Health
OneShare Health refers to a bill submission as a Sharing Request. A provider may submit bills electronically by using the EDI number shown on the back of the member ID card. If the provider will not submit the bills directly, the member may request CMS HFCA 1500 and/or UB-04 forms. The member then completes the Expense Sharing Request Form in the Member Portal and sends the required forms to OneShare Health by fax or mail. Follow the fax and mailing instructions provided with the form, and keep copies of everything you submit.
The Member Portal is the stated online route for the Expense Sharing Request Form. The provider search is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After submitting a request, keep the forms and supporting bills for your records. OneShare Health provides members with an Explanation of Sharing showing the charges they are responsible for paying to the provider. Review the statement carefully, match it with the provider bill, and contact the provider about the amount due.

- Act quickly on a late notice. Grace periods vary by company and state, and a missed payment can lead to cancellation.
