Nebraska Landscaping Contractor Insurance: NDOL Registration, Pesticide License, and Coverage
Nebraska has no statewide landscaping license. Contractors register with the Nebraska Department of Labor (NDOL) for $40 a year, and lawn care pesticide application for hire, including general-use products, needs a $90 Nebraska Department of Agriculture commercial applicator license. Omaha licenses arborists, and contractors with one or more employees must keep a workers’ compensation certificate on file with NDOL.
