Nebraska Auto Dealer Bond: $50,000 Requirement and Cost

Nebraska Auto Dealer Bond guide illustration

The Nebraska Motor Vehicle Industry Licensing Board requires motor vehicle, trailer, wholesale, and motorcycle dealers to file a $50,000 surety bond for each license year ending December 31. Auction dealers need $100,000. Published prices for the $50,000 bond start around $250 a year.

This guide covers the bond, who it protects, and cost. Blake Insurance Group is an independent agency, and a licensed agent can help with your bond and dealer insurance.
