Claims

How to file and track a Arrowhead claim

Start on Arrowhead’s claims page and select the claim type and insurance carrier. The page says claims can be reported by phone, email, online through ACMClaims.com, or through an Arrowhead account executive. Claims may be reported 24/7. The correct administrator depends on your policy, carrier, and sometimes the policy effective date.

For express policies effective on or after February 1, 2018, American Claims Management lists 1-877-777-6440, option 1, and aftermarketfnol@acmclaims.com. Express policies effective before that date use Zurich at 1-866-391-6032 or USZ_Arrowhead_AFMK_Claims@ZurichNA.com. General Casualty Company of Wisconsin and Regent Insurance Company list QBE North America at 1-844-723-2524 and NewLossQBE@US.QBE.com.

Other listed contacts include American Claims Management at 1-866-519-1303 for Palomar Specialty, QBE, or Zurich administration, and 1-866-671-5042 for workers’ compensation. Before you call or email, gather your policy number, loss date, location, contact information, and a brief description of what happened. Before you report a claim

• Stay safe first. If anyone is hurt, call 911. If your car is drivable and it's safe, move it out of traffic.
• Collect the details. The NAIC suggests getting the other driver's name, address, and insurance company, the other car's make, model, year, and plate, witness contact information, and the officer's name and badge number.
• Note the time and place. Write down the date, time, and exact location, and take photos of the vehicles and the scene.
• Report it promptly. The NAIC advises calling the number on your proof-of-insurance card as soon as you can. Many companies also take claims in their app.
• Keep a claim file. Save your claim number, your adjuster's name, estimates, receipts, and notes from every call.

What happens after you file

After you report a claim, Arrowhead assigns an adjuster who reviews the facts, your coverage, and the damage. The NAIC recommends cooperating with the adjuster and asking questions if anything is unclear. Your deductible is usually subtracted from a covered payment, and if you have a car loan, the check may be made out to you and your lender.

If you disagree with a decision, ask for a written explanation and try to resolve it with Arrowhead first. If that doesn't work, you can contact your state insurance department. In Arizona, that's the Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions.

Billing

How to pay your Arrowhead bill

Arrowhead policyholders can pay online through the Arrowhead Exchange policyholder portal. The portal accepts the policy number or statement number shown on a paper bill. Use the official payment link above to access the policyholder area.

The company also says policyholders may contact the phone number on their policy or invoice to make a payment. Arrowhead’s website doesn’t list a general payment phone number, so use the number printed on your billing statement or policy documents. After paying online or by phone, save the confirmation and check your account or next statement to confirm the payment posted.

Whichever method you choose, save your billing statements and payment confirmations until the policy term ends. If you change banks or cards, update your payment details with Arrowhead before the next draft date so a payment doesn't fail.

• Use official channels only. Pay through Arrowhead's website, app, or the number on your statement, or through your agent.
• Check the web address before you enter card or bank details, and be wary of payment links sent by text or email.
• Keep your confirmation number for every payment.
• Ask about autopay or paid-in-full options. Some companies offer them.
• Act quickly on a late notice. Grace periods vary by company and state, and a missed payment can lead to cancellation.
