How to file and track a Aflac claim

Aflac’s claims page provides an online claims process. Policyholders should log in to an account to begin. The page also refers to step-by-step tutorials available through claims checklists. Before filing, gather your policy information, claimant details, relevant records, and other documents requested for your claim. Use the claims number when you need assistance with the filing process.

For affected Network Dental and Vision members, Aflac lists 855-819-1873, Option 1. The page identifies this as Aflac Benefit Solutions, formerly Argus Dental and Vision. This number may not handle every Aflac product or every claim type, so other policyholders should use the online claims process or the claims number, 1-800-992-3522. Have your member or policy information ready when you call.

Aflac’s claims page explains that a policyholder who disagrees with a claims decision may submit an appeal citing supporting policy provisions. Review the decision and your policy documents, identify the provision that supports your position, and include relevant records with the appeal.
